Hijri New Year private sector holiday announced in UAE


The UAE's Ministry Of Human Resources and Emiratisation on Thursday announced the paid private sector holiday for the Hijri New Year.


The holiday will be on Sunday, August 23, giving private sector employees a long three-day weekend.

"On the occasion of Hijri New Year 1442, #MOHRE announces that Sunday, 23rd of August, will be a paid leave for all employees working in private sector establishments and facilities across the UAE," the ministry tweeted.
